  • Via Scottish Enterprise we were introduced to Synergie as part of their LCIP/LCITP programmes. The first piece of work we did with Synergie was to undertake a study of our current operations, the desired output being: i) a company specific energy and water master plan and strategy to reduce consumption, ii) recommendations on the design of our new manufacturing facility in terms of improving energy usage and efficiency, and iii) a benchmarking of our carbon emissions. From the outset, as demonstrated by their project scoping document, Synergie were thorough and detailed. This was consistent with the delivery of the project and the final report gave clear, justified recommendations. We particularly appreciated their ability to work within the constraints of our supply chain; being largely 3rd party, in some cases we weren’t able to provide data direct from those 3rd parties, however Synergie always had a workable workaround! Given the success of that project, and its viable recommendations, we decided to progress to the next phase which was to develop a detailed business case for the implementation of Trigeneration. We had 3 weeks to turn the project around, which required to-the-day planning and coordination, which Synergie were able to deliver whilst clearly demonstrating their ability to manage resources last minute to cope. Communication throughout was regular and reliable; Synergie delivered exactly what they said they would, exactly when they said they would.
