We have built up a team of specialist engineers from a range of disciplines who have a significant track record in the delivery of AD projects, and we can offer a full cycle service for your project from feasibility (including feedstock assessment and large scale pilot trials) to procurement, planning, permitting and construction.

For post construction we can help assist with all plant operations, technical support, and plant upgrades to enable our clients to secure long term, stable running of their AD plant.

We have significant project experience across a wide variety of sectors including distilling and brewing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and drink and agriculture.

We strive to be at the forefront of AD development and are continually looking for ways to integrate the newest AD technology with concomitant biotechnologies, recently investigating the application of algae as a clean-up mechanism for biogas. We regularly collaborate with research groups, private industry and public and private funding groups to finance, design and build innovative AD projects.

Anaerobic Digestion Key To Food And Drink’s Waste And Energy Challenge.

As the UK appears to be moving towards mandatory food waste reporting coupled with a focus on landfill diversion (and a Scottish landfill ban on biodegradable municipal waste next year), the food and drink sector could be well served by investing in anaerobic digestion, says Synergie Environ Sector Director Gavin Ramsey. This, he says, ensures that waste becomes a valuable resource, powering renewable energy and driving greater self-sufficiency and compliance.
