ABOUT ME

Darius graduated from the University of Glasgow with a First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering in June 2022.

Darius discovered soon into his course at university that he wanted to work in the renewable energy industry, which stemmed from taking courses such as Power Engineering and Renewables. His interest in harnessing energy in our surrounding environment that is renewable and sustainable inspired his choice of final year project, which was creating an inexpensive and easily reproducible energy harvester using two transduction methods. The purpose of the energy harvester was to generate small amounts of electricity from actions that the user would perform in their day to day life such as opening a door or using a washing machine. In this project he improved his skills with electronic circuits, sourcing components within a specified budget, and learned how to program an Arduino board using MATLAB.

Darius is excited to funnel his passion for low carbon engineering into Synergie Environ and looks forward to working with the team on important and impressive projects.
