Synergie Environ look to expand to Dubai
Following a presentation by representatives from Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA) to Glasgow Chamber of Commerce members in May 2016, Synergie Environ owners Marina and Uisdean Fraser took the opportunity to visit the DAFZA premises to check out the facilities with a view to opening an office in Dubai. The new office will act as a base for their potential business interests in the Middle and Far East.
Synergie Environ believe there is a great opportunity in the area, where their in-house engineering expertise, which offers low carbon energy solutions to companies, new construction and refit programmes i.e. advising on best options for energy efficiency and lowering carbon emissions and the potential for deployment of renewables technologies.
DAFZA was established in 1996 as part of the governments’ strategic plan to be an investment driven economy. The Zone which, Marina and Uisdean were shown around in June 2016 has over 1,600 companies from diverse sectors and offers a ‘one stop shop’ to any business looking to open an office there.
