Queens Quay District Heat Network site visit

Thanks to Nicky Cowan and Dave Pearson from Star Renewable Energy for the excellent tour of the Queens Quay energy centre. It was both informative and inspiring for our engineers to learn more about the practical development of a local low carbon heat network utilising local engineering expertise.

Around half of the annual energy consumed in the UK is from space heating and hot water. Low carbon solutions to provide this heat are therefore essential to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and meeting the country’s energy and emissions targets.
