Michalis graduated with a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.
Following university, Michalis worked for five years within the specialised Pipeline Production Team of Subsea 7, a world-leading seabed-to-surface engineering, construction, and services contractor to the offshore energy industry.
Michalis first gained experience in proposals, managing and delivering custom pipeline tender packages to Client requirements, before moving on to operations and site support for Subsea 7’s unique bundle site and global spoolbase network.
In his recent role as a Production Engineer, Michalis was responsible for the successful day to day operational management of spoolbases – ensuring site readiness for start of operations, maintaining the project record, building to plan, overseeing the management of change procedures onsite, and accurate reporting of progress to upper management and the Client.

Michalis has a proven track record of delivering project scopes of work to Client specifications in demanding production environments across the globe and is actively committed to help provide effective HSE leadership to reinforce a culture of safe behaviour in all work activities.
He is dedicated to continuous process improvement, the promotion of lean principles, and working with onsite teams to identify the root cause of issues as they arise.
