New Projects, New People, New Promotions

Due to multi-million pound contract wins the team at Synergie have found the need to expand.  We welcome Richard Nayer, Chartered Chemical Engineer who joins us from the Nuclear Industry and brings a wealth of experience from across the asset lifecycle, primarily in design delivery and management of process design on projects with budgets ranging from £10M to over £500M.

We also welcome Mark Armstrong, Chemical Engineer who joins us on the graduate programme. Prior to joining Synergie Environ, he worked with William Grant and Sons at a distillery in the North of Scotland within the central projects team. During this time, Mark carried out the specification and procurement of key process equipment for a large expansion project underway at the distillery.

In addition to new starts we also congratulate Michalis Thaniotis on his promotion to Head of Energy & Projects.  Uisdean Fraser, Managing Director said: “this most recent promotion and his rapid rise through the company is due to his unique blend of hard work and determination along with his innate commercial awareness.  Michalis has played a vital role in the companies’ move in recent years from small projects to the development and execution of major construction projects in the Cleantech sector.
