ESOS Phase 2 deadline met for all clients …and breathe!

The Synergie Environ ESOS team are looking forward to a well earned Christmas break.  The deadline for ESOS Phase 2 which just passed (5th December) saw us spanning the length and breadth of the UK working with nine companies including utilities, manufacturing, construction, and food and drink sectors.

Some amazing stats:

• More than £3million in energy saving opportunities were identified;
• Average savings across the companies were 7% of current spend;
• Savings covered buildings, processes, transport;
• Potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 11,168 tonnes CO2e per year (equivalent to GHG emissions from 1,373 houses)

Over 30 on-site energy audits were completed between June and November. The team at Synergie Environ would like to say thanks for choosing us and we look forward to working with these companies again on ESOS Phase 3 and with some who have already decided to engage us to look at other energy saving measures.

Also, most if not all of the companies assisted will be required to complete annual Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) from April 1st 2020 which needs to be included in the Annual Director’s Report. Call the team today for more information on SECR.
