EXPERIENCE

Lee graduated from the University of York with a bachelor’s degree in Physics, where he studied a variety of topics including Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Electromagnetism and Nuclear Physics. Following graduation Lee joined Doosan Babcock’s graduate scheme, where he gained experience in the Oil & Gas and Nuclear sectors providing specialist asset management engineering services. Upon completion of Doosan’s graduate scheme, Lee became a founding member of Doosan Babcock’s distributed energy business. Here he developed business strategies and technical delivery models for distributed energy systems specifically focused on hydrogen fuel cell technology. In this role Lee was responsible for producing energy strategies, energy masterplans, and energy centre designs for industrial and commercial organisations, and local authorities. Lee has international experience, having developed and delivered fuel cell projects across the USA with Doosan Fuel Cell America, working with clients and utilities from concept feasibility right through to construction.

As Energy & Projects engineer Lee will be conducting feasibility studies for district energy schemes across Scotland, and supporting many of Synergie Environ’s ongoing projects.

Lee is continuously working on his skills and knowledge base. He recently completed a Professional Certificate in Data Science, CIBSE course on Low and Zero Carbon Technologies, and has completed the APM Project Management Fundamentals Course, in addition to other online learning courses in Wind and Solar energy.
