EXPERIENCE

Hanif Graduated from Strathclyde University in Glasgow with an MPhil degree in Renewable Energy and Control System of Wind turbines and an Honors degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering. The tests he conducted as part of his thesis sought to improve the power capture in below rated wind speed for variable speed wind turbines.

He has a rounded and robust understanding of the energy markets, policies and technologies. This was achieved by enthusiastically investigating the business side of industry to meet customer needs for a smarter and safer generation of electronic systems. He has studied a range of electronic subjects, the combination of which has provided him with great understanding of electronics systems and applied this knowledge to his research in renewables, which is his passion.

Hanif Joined Synergie Environ in 2014 as Energy & Project Engineer. He is a highly qualified energy and renewable engineer with broad range of experience through his current position and previous experiences. Since Joining Synergie Environ Hanif has provided technical engineering support for solutions development for a wide variety of projects across a variety of sectors. This area of work largely involves evaluating available technologies. The types of project accomplished included, data analysis of the wind turbine outputs, visualisation and noise assessments of proposed wind turbine developments, Biomass, CHP, photovoltaic and solar thermal development, water efficiency, lighting and space/hot water heating.

Before his current position at Synergie Environ, Hanif had an internship experience at Technical University of Hamburg as a Software Developer Engineer. His duties included Programming of a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for a MATLAB Toolbox, Evaluation data from different database and Generating methods to evaluate compiled data from the laboratory.
