Graduate Energy & Projects Engineer
MEng Chemical Engineering. AMIChemE
Bradley graduated with a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde. As part of his degree Bradley completed a 5-month internship at the Laboratoire de Génie Chimique in Toulouse, France. During this placement, Bradley investigated hydrodynamic behaviour in microreactors through computational fluid dynamics simulations.
Bradley also completed a summer internship with ExxonMobil during his time at university, at their Refinery in Fawley, Hampshire. He was responsible for the early stages project development aiming to enhance efficiency and utilisation of two distillation columns within the reforming block. This project involved process simulation and optimisation, process design, extensive economic analysis, logistics management, execution and tie in strategy.
Having joined Synergie Environ as a Graduate Bradley is keen to further develop his existing skills in project development and optimisation, and to gain expertise across a wide range of low carbon technologies. So far Bradley has been mainly working on feasibility studies as part of Scottish Enterprise’s Low Carbon Infrastructure Programme (LCIP). Carrying out analysis of current and projected energy and water consumptions, and developing energy management strategies.
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
Through completion of his Master’s degree, Bradley has developed substantial knowledge in process engineering design & control, and safety management practices.
Software: Aspen Plus, Mablab, Simulink, Visual Basic and PRO II.
