Circular Economy Support
Synergie Environ are currently supporting a number of public sector bodies and third sector groups to improve re-use of mobile assets such as furniture, office equipment etc. which become available when buildings are closing, services are re-locating or should such assets become available for any other reason.
As these items would generally have been consigned to landfill this is a very important project which will help promote recycling and reuse of materials within the area in accordance with the principles of the Circular Economy.
We found the training provide by Marina, Synergie Environ to be comprehensive and engaging. Staff members and community members now have a more thorough understanding of key issues surrounding waste issues and water use. Noteworthy facts were highlighted that really made us rethink our own behaviours – making us realise the impact of using information in an effective way. We are able to move forward better equipped with tools to engage the rest of the community in waste and water issues.
The training provided by Marina was interactive and kept the interest of the group with how she presented the LFHW workshop. I came away from this session feeling inspired and with the confidence to present messages in a different way. We can all run training sessions, however making sure the training is taken in by the group is a different matter, ensuring clarity and that the group realise the benefit of the information and use what they are being taught- we can't all do that, Marina can!
Working with Marina has been a pleasure – she is courteous, reliable, hard-working, easy to get along with, while maintaining an exceptional level of professionalism. She has no doubt been one of the main reasons why the Love Food Hate Waste theatre has been such a resounding success at the Good Food Show. She is a skilled operator and easily takes challenging tasks in her stride. For example, at the BBC Good Food Show 2013, she was thrust on to the live demo stage where she had to compare for one of the biggest chef personalities at the show in front of hundreds of people – she truly excelled and the performance was/is still talked about to this day.
