Gavieside Housing Development – district heating

The upcoming Gavieside development in West Lothian offers the chance to design 2,500 homes from the ground up for an efficient, carbon-saving heat system. In collaboration with Babbity Environmental, our engineers Mike, Lee and Matt examined possible district heating solutions and identified opportunities to save both money and carbon compared to traditional gas boilers. SEPA are now asking that district heating feasibility studies are being done at pre planning for all new large housing developments.
